Abstract:
This study examines how Human-centered experiential learning sessions with a structured workflow fosters AI literacy among university students in research learning. Using a multi-case design with pre-service teachers, the inquiry analyzes participants’ perceptions of ChatGPT’s pedagogical value, its role in structuring analytic reasoning, and its ethical implications. Findings show that guided, reflective interaction with GenAI enhanced students’ AI literacy. The study highlights the potential of structured AI-supported collaborative learning to develop research methodological competencies while promoting responsible use of generative artificial intelligence tools in higher education.
